Tires come in many different sizes. As a rule, your bike should have a manual that will specify tires size and proper inflation. Of course, most chopper builders pretty much ignore this fluff and seem consumed with getting the biggest tire possible on the back of their bike. This is only an issue if you ever plan on turning the bike - because after a certain width, the *** thing simply won't turn. It's simple physics. I prefer skinny or stock size tires on chops. I mean, at a certain level you're adding enough complexity to the steering geometry by cutting the frame and extending the front end. I guess some folks think a fat *** rear end is cool - I wouldn't want one on my wife or my chopper. But that's just me.

Hello, I having a problem with my 51 pan bottom and 76 shovel top end with a 4 speed kick start. I am having a hard time kick starting the bike over (back pressure So I have to push start the bike which runs great if I do that. Could it be in the timing? and where do I need to adjust and how? Thanks for any advice and help you can give! Al............
