Hey!!!!!! Are there any American manufacturers of clutch cables any more?? Seems like all I am able to find are the cheaply built chinese or tiwanese manufactured ones. The problem I'm seeing is that the threaded end that screws into the tranny case snaps off if you blink or fart at the wrong moment. The walls are too thin, threads are cut too deep, and whats up with the pot metal anyway??? I need something of substance and I hope one of you guys can help me. Thanks for any info you can share...Stoney

Stoney, where have you been?? Barnett has made AMERICAN MADE cables for 50 years. The bottom pieces that snap off are cheaply made cast parts. They have a HE cable (high efficiency) which makes the cable pull like butter, even with a stiff spring.
They make everything in-house, stock or to whatever wild and crazy length and spec you want.
Big Dog, American Ironhorse, Bourget, Ness, OCC.. All use Barnett cables. Check out the website or call them.

I have used Barnett on a ton of funky and just plain weird applications including a 1930 Model A Sedan. if they don't have what you need in stock whcih they should, they will make it to your specs in a matter of days
