im thinking of buying this 64 sportster turned bobber. everythings rebuilts but the foot controls are switched! its a 4 or 5 speed kick start. anyone know an east way to add a jockey shifter?
not a clutch but an actual shifter

it all depends on how you really want to rig it.... for cheap and easy you could could just weld it, but if your looking for the pro way then i would suggest going to your local Harley dealer and asking them for advice. Is the engine the original to the bike? What is it 4 OR 5 speed? (now just a personal question) Do you want the clutch on the shifter?

I am in desperate need of a manual for a 57' 900 ironhead i just picked up. Can anyone out there help me out?

The dreaded E-bay is probably your best bet.  It was about $7.00 for one on CD for my 65'XLH.  Hoping it shows up in today's mail, I'll keep ya posted.
