Oil Change

I'm new to the chopper world so this may be somewhat simple.  I want to change to the oil and I am not sure where to start.  I've got a paramount custom cycle ascendant chopper with an S&S 113 Superstock.  The oil fill is under the seat along with what looks like an oil tank.  Is the drain under the engine or is it at the sump?

How many quarts of oil is typical or should I fill till I can see it in the tank?

Is it okay to just restart after I have changed the oil or is there any special steps with an S&S 113 engine.

Any helps appreicated.  Thanks

there should be a hose coming from the oil tank to drain the oil.

. just follow each hose from the tank- 2 will go to the motor- one return one feed to the oil pump. another should be the drain.

most likely you have a 4 quart oil tank. to be safe. drain. add new filter. put in three quarts. start bike. stop bike. look at oil level in the tank and adjust to the proper level.

nothing specia about restarting the 113- just start  it and ride it.

hope this helps.
