hello, I'm the new guy (scrub) I just got a 98 sporster 883 and I want to make a chopper.
dont know if the bike is a sporster xl or standard any thoughts. the reason i'm asking is
because all the hardtail weld on frames are for sportster xl. As stated before i'm the new
guy to the site and also new to building bikes. I'm either gonna build a rat bobber or a chopper
out of this 98 sporty engine with only 15k miles. any advice will help. seems like alot of guys here
know there stuff . Thanks Tom McMahon

hi welcome to the site, all you have to do is buy a paughco frame and throw the motor in. I recently do that whith the same motor and looks killer. whith a 200 tire look at the sportster 2003 883 in the readers rides it has a 200 rear tire and is rigid.
