April 1979 Street Chopper cover bike found!!!

Hi everyone, not sure where to post this but I have found and currently trying to "revive" a surviving STREET CHOPPER cover bike that was featured in and on the cover of the April 1979 issue! It shared the cover with one of Ron Fich's(Finch's Custom Styled Cycles) bikes. The bike I have was called "Baker's Shaker", it was on pages 32&33. When the bike was found it was missing the original motor, seat, handle bars, and wheels. It did have wheels on it and a set of buckhorn bars, but they were not from the original build. It was lying on it's side in an old hay barn. There was also a sportster in the barn that, come to find out, had the motor from the chopper in it!!! SCORE!!
I bought the two bikes and brought them home. I have since been trying to find out more of the history of the bike, talked to the original painter!!! and made contact with the man that made/stitched up the original seat. He is now well into his 70's and not really ineterested in trying to remake the seat. He still does some upholstery work, but this was the only motorcycle seat he ever did and vowed to never do another!!! I have afew pics of it now as it is, I have some twisted Z bars on it and made a thin seat to at least have some pad to sit on until I can have one made up.
The paint and chrome have held up very well considering it was done 30+ years ago!! The 22" over Fury springer is still tight and rides great. I'm hoping to get the bike to a few shows sometime soon, as well as making some pull back style bars like the ones on it originally and seat too.......hey if you want to do a "The Way It Was, April '79" I'd be glad to get some better pics of it for ya!!!!
