Long story short. I am 48yrs old and finally going to build my first scooter. Can anyone direct me towards a general list that I can use to itemize all parts, ie: engine, trany, axle plates, gear shifter...... that is nesessary to build a bike.  I need to do this in order to obtain a loan for the purchase of "ALL" the parts required to build my bike.  Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, turnNburn1x!!!!

there is no "easy" wat to do this. you may want to go to J and P cycles http://www.jpcycles.com and "build" a bike with the parts that they sell. Then print it off and give it to the loan company

Not long ago a man I work with was looking for the same thing. He was looking at different web sites and found a sight called Demon's Cycles. He emailed them about a bike that was pictured at the bottom of a page that was for a rolling softtail chassis with driveline. They returned with a quote for a complete bike like the one he saw for $12,000.00 plus shipping to my address. Delivery would take 7 to 10 days after recieving his wire transfer. All the items he needed to build a complete bike arrived 8 days later with all items that weren't cromed already primed and ready for paint. I never saw the parts or the completed bike but he did tell me everything was there. He quite his job and moved up north of where we lived to a better paying job before I had a chance to see it. You might ask the people at Demon's Cycles for a list of parts and prices.

Wow, I never got an email alerting me to these answers, but I really do appreciate the responses.  Almost ready to open a new welding repair and fabrication shop in a new town and have made applications to a few bike kit companies.
