There was an early issue maybe 1969-71 with an article about Denver Mullin's personal orange shovel head chopper with thin purple or blue flames. I thought it was pictured on the cover cropped to the front part of the frame and tank. Been looking for years and I had it back then but someone begged me for it and there it went. Thought I would find another. There is a photo of the bike from that issue (I believe) on page 93 of the recent Anniversary Edition Street Choppers magazine. I've emailed the magazine and talked to the guys at Denver's Choppers in Henderson, Nevada and no one can help. Been watching Ebay as well. Would like to purchase a decent copy...maybe reproduce the bike. Thanks

You are correct on the pic being on pg 93 of the 40th. The original issue is Oct. 1970. I to am looking for that same one to add to my collection of over 150 early Street Chopper mags. Also having 39 with one or more Denver's choppers in them.
